HOLLAND UPDATE

Much Munch
More than 150 paintings and works on paper make up the first comprehensive overview of the oeuvre of the Norwegian painter, most famous for his 1893 work, The Scream. Munch had a major influence on the development of expressionism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Complex emotions are the main themes of his work, whose inspiration often stemmed from literature and writers, such as Strindberg and Ibsen. This is a unique opportunity to see so much of his work in one place.
